Into the Stacks: Men at Work

Bookleggers Library director Nathaniel Sandler and Wolfsonian chief librarian Frank Luca co-host Into the Stacks: Men at Work, an evening reflecting on the impacts of the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Dissect rare newsletters and photo albums from the CCC and learn how the men who enrolled left their mark in modern-day Miami locales such as Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Matheson Hammock Park. This free, blast-from-the-past event runs from 7 to 9pm on August 25 at The Wolfsonian–FIU in Miami Beach.
