Grillin’ N Chillin Barbecue Festival

Summer in Miami is a lot like Miami every other time of year, plus or minus some humidity and afternoon showers. Despite the heat, summer still means one very important thing: It’s grilling season. To properly kick off the occasion, Coconut Grove’s Peacock Park is hosting Grillin’ N Chillin, a Sunday funday entirely dedicated to the city’s best grillers, smokers and pitmasters. Whether you’re into Korean, Memphis, Texas or Kansas City BBQ, or even Brazilian churrasco and Argentine parrillada, you’ll want to slather it up with a massive selection of sauces and wash it all down with cold beers and craft whiskey cocktails. The family-friendly event also features live music, a kids’ zone and a hot dog eating contest.
