The second annual Faena Festival, titled “The Last Supper,” strives to awaken
souls (and appetites) by examining the link between spirituality, ritual and food in newly
commissioned works. Chinese artist Zhang Huan presents Miami Buddha, which features two statues sitting face to face; and Myrlande Constant, who’s known for making Haitian vodou flags, displays her largest one to date in the main lobby of the Faena Hotel.
