"Fade"

In this fast-paced dramedy by Tanya Saracho, Lucia, a Hispanic novelist, feels ostracized at her new job, in the white male-dominated writer’s room of a television series. She discovers a friend in Abel, the Latino night janitor, but when the personal stories he shares with her appear in her scripts, questions of class exploitation within the Latinx community and broader society arise.
