Located inside the Little Haiti Cultural Complex Art Gallery, this exhibition features inspiring stories of the local activists and community organizations who helped shape Miami’s history. “Demands,” presented by the Community Justice Project, will be on view through November 9. Walk through the gallery for an intimate look at how collective action comes to life and how community justice makes a real impact, from historic student sit-ins to modern immigrant rights movements. The free, interactive exhibit features archival material and artworks showcasing the power of grassroots movements in Miami.
