Brazilian rapper and songwriter Emicida debuts his documentary AmarElo: It’s All For Yesterday at the 27th Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival on September 9. Screening at the Miami Beach Bandshell, the film brings attention to the history of black figures that helped form Brazil’s culture while showcasing Emicida’s breakthrough performance at Theatro Municipal of São Paulo in 2019. The fundamentals of Modernism, samba and Emicida’s album, AmarElo, guided the creation of this film, which features exclusive behind-the-scenes of its invention.
