Movie theaters? Boring. Movies in the park? Been there, done that. What’s next on the horizon for screenings? Billboards. A24, the independent company responsible for making films such as The Bling Ring and Moonlight, is showing their most popular flicks on public billboards across the country as part of a program called Public Access. It kicks off in Sacramento with Lady Bird and makes its way through U.S. before landing in Miami on August 24th for a showing of Moonlight on the billboard located at the corner of NW 79th Street and 12th Place. It sits on a large plot of land, so bring snacks for a picnic and an umbrella for the inevitable August shower.
