A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Miami City Ballet takes a literal deep dive into George Balanchine’s 1962 adaptation of Shakespeare’s whimsical comedy. Supplemented by sets, props and costumes by celebrated Miami Beach artist Michele Oka Doner, this production sets Balanchine’s romantic roundelay of lovers both mortal and fairy underwater, in an ocean of possibilities.
