Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and contributing property as part of the Downtown Miami Historic District, the Seybold Building was designed by Kiehnel and Elliott and erected in two stages between 1921 and 1295. Back in those days, John Seybold operated a bakery and confectionery business on the main floor. Today, the long-running center is the second-largest jewelry building in the United States, housing hundreds of jewelers peddling precious gems, fine watches and repairs. Whether you’re seriously looking or just want to browse, you’re welcome inside to a peek at some very, very expensive rocks.
