James Beard-winning chef Michael Schwartz is at it again in Coconut Grove, opening new restaurant Tigertail + Mary this spring. The mostly vegetarian concept focuses on seasonal produce and thoughtfully sourced seafood and meat. Schwartz is letting the laid-back neighborhood inform the design do, working with local firm Arquitectonica and New York City’s Meyer Davis Studio to create a bohemian oasis featuring indoor and outdoor dining areas draped in neutral tones and dotted with live foliage throughout. Tigertail + Mary will open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and, of course, brunch. It wouldn’t be a Coconut Grove restaurant without a lively Sunday lunch scene.
