Arrive at Koa Poke 15 minutes before your reservation to receive a golden envelope with a passcode and instructions for accessing this evening's decadent omakase. The speakeasy-style bar and sushi lounge tucked off of bustling Collins Avenue in South Beach bucks tradition with unconventional ingredients and unique preparations by gregarious Polish-Canadian chef and master of ceremony, Sebastian Labno. The semicircular counter with room for 10 to 12 guests serves as Labno's stage for a theatrical culinary performance that lasts around two hours. Expect dramatic twirls of smoke and puffs of edible glitter accentuating dishes made with caviar, uni, dry-aged Wagyu and more.
