Though far from the beach, this Mexican fast-food joint still attracts queues. Expect the usual array of tacos and quesadillas, though the food is a cut above most chain fare: guacamole and salsa are homemade; fresh seasonal fish—mahi mahi, yellowtail—fills the tacos. And you don’t get fresh margaritas at Taco Bell. Healthy options abound, too—the South Beach burrito (low carb, low fat) or, for Atkins devotees, the Nudie burrito (no tortilla, all fillings). Diners sit on a patio and eat to a rock’n’roll beat.
