If you’re from Miami or — you know — have ears, you probably recognize the surname in Estefan Kitchen. The Cuban restaurant, operating in the blossoming Design District, is owned by none other than famous musicians Gloria and Emilio Estefan. Naturally, there’s live music, and it’s not uncommon for Gloria or Emilio to stop by every now and then. The menu has the Cuban staples: croquetas ($8), pan con bistec ($12), but also boasts classic dishes with a twist, like the Lechón flatbread ($14). Estefan Kitchen offers indoor and outdoor seating, and its crisp black and white decor blends in perfectly with the bougie vibes of the Design District.
