If you're dining on an expense account, if someone else is paying or if you're just plain rich, Azul is the place to splurge. The priceless water views of the city set the stage for executive chef Clay Conley, who honed his skills with star chef Todd English. The result is a tour de force of international cuisine, inspired by Caribbean, French, Argentine, Asian and American flavours. Among the standouts: Moroccan-inspired lamb, a miso-marinated duck breast and the ridiculously named 'A Study in Tuna.' The latter comprises raw tuna, tempura avocado and Asian sauces with Osetra caviar - the culinary equivalent of an Ivy League education once you see the bill. Diners range from stuffy to celebratory: power suits, socialites and special-occasion crowds.
