Old-world flavors meet new-world techniques at Antilia, Miguel Massens’s debut restaurant previewing at Time Out Market Miami. Drawing from time spent in kitchens in Mexico and Spain as well as from his Cuban heritage, the Miami-born, Michelin-trained chef designs an elevated dining experience that’s surprisingly approachable: He’s skipping the fancy proteins and showing love to the humble plantain, the locally sourced hoja santa and presenting native veggies in cool and exciting ways.
