Did Drake give you money last week? No? Well, apparently you’re, like, the only person in Miami who didn’t get a stack from Drizzy during the rapper’s insane spree of altruism in our city that totaled almost $1,000,000.
Last Thursday, we tracked Drake’s very random week in Miami, and tried to keep tabs on the various huge checks he handed out like candy on Halloween. It was all part of the filming of his music video for “God’s Plan,” and today that video went live.
It’s hard to be cynical about this one. In the six-minute feel-good video, Drake bounces around Miami, handing out donations to local students, charities and anyone else lucky enough to be in his path. It’s an objectively good thing and we’re all for more rich and famous people doing the same in Miami. Check out the much-needed pick-me-up visual before you head into the long weekend.
