It feels good to be back, Miami. We’ve been busy putting the final touches on our culinary destination and are finally ready to make it official: Time Out Market Miami is reopening on March 18. That’s this Thursday for folks who’ve lost track of time during lockdown (*raising our hands*), and you’ll want to put it in your calendar ASAP because there are lots of new things to get excited about—including takeout and delivery.
We’re thrilled to welcome back six of our day-one favorites, including Peruvian spot 33 Kitchen, Vietnamese staple Pho Mo, vegan darling Love Life Cafe and pizza star Peace Pie. Azucar ice cream and Bachour bakery will continue to rule the dessert scene at Time Out Market Miami with locally inspired flavors and irresistible pastries.
Plus, two new concepts will be joining the vets full-time. There’s La Santa Taqueria, Omar Montero’s vibrant taco shop in Little Haiti, where he doles out authentic, Mexico-City-style tacos. The chef’s taco holy trinity is a sacred combo of double tortillas, a single well-executed protein and a dollop of the freshest house-made salsa. It’s pretty spectacular. 33 Kitchen’s Sebastian Fernandez doubles down with a second eatery called S&D Burger, where he’ll serve his take on the classic backyard burger. Made simply with quality Wagyu beef and topped with locally sourced produce, it’s the kind of food you’ll crave all summer and beyond.
Discover limited-time favorites at the Love Local pop-ups, Time Out’s ongoing initiative to champion Miami’s independent businesses. We’re turning over several eateries to a handful of small makers (think delivery-only concepts and home bakers) and giving them the opportunity to sell their packaged goods in person on the weekends. Pop-ups will rotate and change on an ongoing basis to best represent Miami’s growing culinary scene.
We’ve missed you and know it’s been a long year without us, so we’re going a little extra on the specials to welcome you back. We’ll be kicking off with happy hour every Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 7pm, featuring $8 cocktails, $7 wine and $5 beer. And we’re going bottomless on the weekends—with bubbles, that is. Stop in Saturdays and Sundays for unlimited mimosas, Bellinis and prosecco from noon to 3pm.
See you this Thursday! We can’t wait to have you back.
