If you’re a foodie in Miami, you know summer is meant for eating pants, not swimsuits. The months of August and September welcome Miami Spice, the annual restaurant program in which fine-dining spots across the city offer three-course, prix-fixe menus for $23 at lunch and $39 at dinner.

Now in its 17th year, it’s safe to assume most locals know what to expect and have even started plotting their summer of feasting. What you might not know is that of this year’s 204 participating restaurants, more than 20 are brand-spanking new to Miami Spice. Here’s a quick look at 2018’s first-timers to add to your list.
