October 1 is usually a fairly happy day. Fall has arrived. Leaves, pumpkins, boots that extend all the way up to your chin, etc. But, in Miami, it’s a bittersweet occasion because it means that Miami Spice is officially over and now you have to go back to paying full price for your fancy meals. We’ll give you a moment to collect yourself.
Ready? Good. Because we have some news that should hopefully cheer you up just a little. The first-ever Seed Food & Wine restaurant week is happening right now, from October 1 through October 15. Think of it as a mini Miami Spice for plant-based restaurants from Miami to West Palm Beach.
Over 25 restaurants are offering prix-fixe meals for lunch and dinner (see all your options here). There are fast casual concepts (like Manna Life Food and Jackson Hall) offering $18 lunch and $26 dinner as well as some more upscale options (like Planta and Plant Miami) doing $22 lunch and $36 dinner.
It’s all meant to get you ready for the upcoming Seed Food and Wine festival and it’s just the sort of tasty detox your body needs after filling up on three-course dinners for the last 60 days.
