What’s a holiday celebration without proper cocktails? We hope we never find out. Making sure you don’t have to either is Miracle in Miami, a new Christmas-themed pop-up bar opening in Wynwood next week.

What began as a single holiday pop-up in New York’s East Village in 2014, and has since spread to cities such as London and Montreal, launches its first local outpost at Gramps’ backroom on November 23. DRINK Miami is behind the monthlong affair—featuring festooned bartenders, kitschy decor and festive tunes—which means there’ll be more than basic eggnog on the menu.

Among the festive cocktails on tap are the Christmas Carol Barrel with rum and pumpkin pie and the Gingerbread Flip with bourbon and crumbled gingersnap cookies. The staple holiday milk punch makes an appearance, though Miracle in Miami takes their nog one step further, adding brown-butter fat-washed cognac and sherry and serving it in adorable custom glassware that’s also available for purchase.

The pop-up runs daily from November 23 through December 23 (Sun–Thu 7pm–1am; Fri, Sat 7pm–3am) and each night brings a different party or theme, from tacky sweater contests and Christmas karaoke to caroling nights. Guests can also expect live music, surprise performances and a mistletoe photo booth. Though visit at your own risk: One holiday martini too many is how you end up on Santa’s naughty list.
