The always-fun Calle Ocho Music Festival is happening this Sunday, March 9 and, as part of the shenanigans, Monkey Shoulder Whisky is bringing its epic mixer—marketed as the world's largest cocktail shaker—to the festival from 11am to 7pm to give out free cocktail samples to all attendees. Gimmicky? Sure, but free drinks are always the way to our hearts.

Staff will be giving out two different cocktail samples from the truck: the Mango Monkey (whiskey, lemon, mango syrup, Ginger Ale, mint) and the Guava Lemonade (whiskey, guava jam, lemonade bubbly water). Perfect hydration methods during a music festival, if you ask us.

A few things to keep in mind while gazing at the massive on-site shaker: over 27 feet long and 13 feet tall, it has served around 5,000 gallons of cocktails while driving over 225,000 miles across the country throughout the past few months. That is, actually, the equivalent of driving around the Earth nine complete times.

Made of concrete, the mobile cocktail maker has been spotted in New York, Arizona and more, finally making its way to Miami this weekend.

Once again this year, the Calle Ocho Music Festival will take over 15 street blocks of Little Havana with music stages, sampling sites, international food offerings, folkloric dances and entertainment for the whole family. Basically, one of the best days of the year is just around the corner!
