Pitbull’s new restaurant is going to be like eating inside one of his music videos

By now, you should know that Pitbull is less a person than a philosophy. The man they call Armando Christian Perez has bottled the essence of Ocean Drive and used it to become one of the biggest stars to ever emerge from Miami: conquering the world of music, fashion and—in the not too distant future—food.

That’s right: Pitbull is opening a restaurant on Ocean Drive and a more Miami sentence has never been spoken.

The 9,000 square foot venue with the mysterious and slightly sinister tagline, “where what happens, never happened,” will be called iLov305 because of course it will. The concept will be bright and glitzy. Expect cigar rollers and a gift shop in the lobby and a bar serving 50 different mojitos! We did the math—and that means you can have a different mojito every day for 50 days! Incredible.

Upstairs awaits a DJ booth and three VIP rooms—the most elite among them being the “Dale! Room,” which will have its own bathroom and private bar. It’s accessible to guests only when Pitbull isn’t using it. Seriously. It’s reserved for him.

The menu will be a mix of American comfort food and Latin classics with dishes like pork belly sliders, a Cubano, black bean soup, guava bread pudding and did we mention 50 different mojitos? Did you know that’s one mojito for every year Julia Roberts has been alive? Stunning.

iLov305 will be located at 1060 Ocean Drive and will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining. It is set to debut some time this summer and your tía already made reservations.
