Given that, according to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, about 9% of Miami's population identifies as Jewish—and considering locals' love for beach-adjacent activities—we're surprised it took this long for the first-ever kosher beach club to open in town. Launching on April 11 at 5101 Collins Avenue, Nana Beach Club will be the premier glatt kosher destination of its kind in the area, offering dishes that meet the highest standards of Jewish dietary laws.

The club, which will only operate during Passover initially, with the intention of re-launching later this summer, will be a multi-faceted experience designed to feel like a Tulum-style beachfront oasis, right in the heart of Miami Beach.

The core offering will be La Mer, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant "reminiscent of the French Riviera," according to an official press release, serving kosher dishes crafted by chef Olivia Ostrow while overlooking the beach.

During Passover, the menu will feature a variety of kosher-for-Passover plates, including lamb keftas, grilled chicken club sandwiches, salads, seaside ceviche options, grilled fish platters, and kid-friendly foods. With an influx of observant Jews typically flying to Miami for the one-week holiday, the opening seems perfectly timed to cater to both locals and out-of-towners who would benefit from the offerings.

In addition to the on-site restaurant, patrons can indulge in bottle service, creatively crafted cocktails, daybed rentals, pool loungers, live DJ sets, and pickleball courts. Miamians can visit for the day or sign up for a membership pass to be used throughout the week

At night, Nana hopes to become a top-notch beachfront destination. After all, there's nothing like partying by the ocean after the sun sets, right?
