Following performances in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, Hermès is gearing up to present its immersive poetic and cinematic performance "On The Wings of Hermès" in Miami later this month. The experience, inspired by the Greek myth of Pegasus, will take over the Hangar at Regatta Harbour on April 18 through April 27.

The show takes place inside a dark area that feels like a film studio. Once inside, guests will be treated to seven different sketches focusing on Pegasus.
"In a performance which blends together dance, a theatre of objects, music and cinema, visitors discover a tale [...] with its own backdrop; landscapes and utopic worlds where poetic figurines and Hermès objects come alive, like graceful puppets, in a choreography of twirling hands," reads an official press release.

There will be dancers, a mini circus, lighting technicians and "a humorous opera sung by a cast of Hermès 'Kelly' bags."
The imaginary universe comes courtesy of a Belgian duo comprised of director Jaco Van Dormael and choreographer Michèle Anne De Mey, who worked together with the Astragales dance company to bring the concept to life.

Although a relative departure from what the luxe brand is known for, the production certainly feels as high-end and sought-after as the coveted bags produced by the company.
Best of all, the experience is completely free to attend as long as you register in advance right here. Keep in mind that the shows start promptly at 2pm, 4pm and 7pm daily, with doors opening 30 minutes prior to go-time.
