Miamians with a flair for European dining, rejoice: La Grande Boucherie, a New York-based restaurant paying homage to grandiose Parisian bistros, is set to debut at 81 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach this Friday, January 31.

The eatery, by The Group Hospitality, first debuted in New York City in 2020. Today, the restaurant boats four different locations in the Big Apple, one in Chicago and another in Washington. This will be the business' first address in the South.

"We are thrilled to bring La Grande Boucherie to Miami's South of Fifth neighborhood, offering a unique fusion of an indulgent steakhouse with the timeless charm of a refined Parisian brasserie," said Emil Stefkov, founder of The Group Hospitality, in an official statement. "This new venture marks a significant milestone for The Group Hospitality as we step into the Magic City, known for its vibrant culture and world-class gastronomy. We look forward to introducing this one-of-a-kind dining experience housed within a reimagined, historic, art deco building where guests will be transported to the Golden Age of Paris—an era where art, fashion, and culture converged in a spectacular celebration of life."

Expect a pretty massive space that, unlike its out-of-state predecessors, also boasts a garden courtyard. According to the Miami Herald, the first floor "mimics the look of a brasserie with subway tile walls and mosaic floors."

Upstairs, opulence is key: "the colors darks and richer, with plush red chairs and dark wallpaper in place of the clean white subway tiles."

Food-wise, meat reigns supreme in both classic French form and more modern takes on the cuisine. The menu, managed by executive chef Leonardo Pablo, features coq au vin, rib eye, mussels, filet mignon au poivre, confit duck and leg and much more.

In addition to it all, this will be the only La Grande Boucherie location that, for now, will also be offering a seafood menu (think Maine lobster, red snapper, grilled branzino and more) alongside a raw bar dishing out stone crabs and oysters, among other delicacies.

Although born right here in the United States, La Grande Boucherie really feels like a love letter to classic Parisian steakhouses—one we can't wait to experience ourselves come this weekend.
