It was a soggy Monday night in South Beach but it was a packed house inside Byblos, where Time Out Miami hosted the 2018 Time Out Bar Awards. Sponsored by William Grant & Sons, the second annual event honored the best bars in Miami and the talented crews responsible for crafting your favorite cocktails. But on their night off, it was William Grant’s turn behind the bar.

All night, guests had their choice of a Monkey Colada—made with Monkey Shoulder whisky, fresh pineapple, coconut and lime—or the Rose 75, a sparkling wine cocktail featuring Segura Viudas rosé, Hendrick’s gin, rose syrup, grapefruit and a rosemary sprig and lemon peel garnish. Adorable mini bottles of brut and rosé Segura Viudas also made the rounds throughout the night. Between sipping and dancing, guests noshed on Mediterranean bites courtesy of Byblos.

Come award time, all eyes were on presenters, such as Monkey Shoulder representative Charlotte Voisey and Hendrick’s Gin brand ambassador Fred Parent, who handed out the night’s awards for best bar and best legacy bar, respectively. Cheers to all the winners!
