Listen up, gin-lovers, you classy little things. There’s a new spot that just opened in South Beach that has your name all over it. The cozy new Minnow Bar is officially open right next to the under-renovation Kimpton Angler's Hotel, at 660 Washington Avenue.

Minnow Bar aims to showcase clear spirits: piscos, cachaças and white rum will all be on the menu. But the star of the show shall be gin. Expect both big brands and small-batch bottles like the made-in-Holland Bobby’s Gin.

Eventually, Minnow Bar—a 990-square-foot space with an outdoor terrace and sleek, copper bar—will have a food menu once the seafood concept Seawell Fish n’ Oyster opens next door. For now, it’s all about the drinks, which you can sample Monday through Thursday from 3pm to midnight; Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 2am; and Sunday from 11am to midnight. The extensive renovation on the Kimpton Angler's Hotel is expected to be done by fall of this year. We’re thankful they had their priorities in order and finished the bar first, though.
