The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach

Designed in 1953 by Morris Lapidus and Melvin Grossman, the stunning deco property is overhauled in 2019 as it receives a full revamp of its rooms and public places. Miami architecture firm Hirsch Bedner Associates is at the helm of the renovation, which includes the luxury hotel’s 375 rooms and suites as well as its beachfront restaurant formerly known as DiLido. The new Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is slated to open in late 2019.
