It may look like your average Miami Beach hotel—Art Deco skyscraper painted in an innocuous hue—but the The Confidante is remarkable among its neighbors. For starters, it’s home to Top Chef alum Dale Talde’s eponymous eatery TALDE, Floridian brasserie Seagrape and a Spanish-inspired pool house-cum-cocktail den called the 1930s House, where live music and handcrafted drinks are a nightly occurrence. Dual swimming pools surrounded by private cabanas and Miami landscaper Raymond Jungles’ impressive designs will keep you lounging past sunset but if sleep beckons, you’ll be just as eager to retreat to one of the hotel’s 380 guest rooms artfully decorated by popular British interior designer Martin Brudnizki.
