Kent

The Kent certainly didn’t skimp on decor or personality during its recent renovation. The lobby is like a metallic candy box, with orange, pink and purple accents splashed all over steel fixtures. The rooms retain their original wood features, but now have lilac and steel to throw the Kent into the future. Not to be missed is the Barbarella-esque suite, with its Lucite fittings. There’s no pool, but the beach is nearby. It’s a cheap and funky choice, and an on-site bar/grill joint has just opened.
