Time Out says

Feel like you’ve been transported to the Ramblas of Barcelona when you stay in this charming boutique hotel right on Española Way, which is a pedestrian strip that feels like a sort of quieter, more intimate cousin of Lincoln Road. From the Mediterranean-style architecture to its location on one of the area’s busiest pedestrian strips, El Paseo offers a taste of Europe in South Beach. Rooms are clean and spacious, and some even feature a small kitchen. You won’t find a pool (or an elevator!) but the beach and shopping are mere steps away.

Neighborhood: You might be a couple blocks from Ocean Drive, but this is still very South Beach. There’s never a lack of places to eat, drink and hang out.

Nearby:
World Erotic Art Museum: NSFW-museum dedicated to erotic expression
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila: Killer Mexican tacos with a hidden bar in the back
Mac’s Club Deuce: The quintessential Miami Beach dive bar

Time Out tip: Feeling overwhelmed by the commotion of Española Way? Head a mile northwest to the neighborhood of Sunset Harbor. It’s a lazier (and fancier) chunk of Miami Beach perfect for chilling, drinking and eating.
