A rooftop bar in Little Havana? How charming. The neighborhood where buildings are rarely taller than three or four floors welcomes its first open-air, elevated situation above the equally adorable Life House hotel. Oversize umbrellas and couch set-ups are scattered about its retro-tiled digs, which twinkle at night under the rows of bistro lights. There’s also an herb garden up top where all kinds of veggies and herbs are grown and plucked to flavor cocktails and for the many plant-based dishes on the menu. For example, the mushroom starter and the heirloom tomato salad—both fresh and bursting with flavor.
