Time Out says

Getting to know Mexico City with the help of experts is easier than you thought. Thanks to the new alliance between TimeOut Mexico and Jetty, you can hit the most emblematic parts of the city in just one day on a themed tour.

If food’s what you’re looking for, the San Juan Market tour should be at the top of your list. On top of eating at spots like the Triana Gourmet Cafe and Las Tapas de San Juan, you’ll get to experience a cooking class given by Chef Bernardo Bukantz.

Bernardo, who once worked in Biko, now runs Salón Ríos, a western-canteen styled bar with Mexican food and casual drinks. During the second season of Top Chef México he showed off on technique and passion for his job.

Make sure to get comfortable clothes and shoes. Take a little extra money in case you want to buy something in the market. The tour will depart at 10am from la Roma and it will last about six hours.
