This small and comfy place opened in April of 2010. It has a vast specialized library, a substantial video library and a classroom for theoretical and practical audiovisual arts courses and workshops taught by professionals. No place here for “off-brand” courses that promise you’ll make your own short film after five sessions.
Founders have paid extra attention to the exhibition of Mexican cinema, particularly to minor films, the kind we barely know of; all this in digital format.
Since its opening it has hosted screenings and forums by the Cineteca Nacional, as well as festivals like DocsDF.
A distinguishing attraction of this cinema club is that they’re closed to the public on Mondays and you can rent the place for private screenings and cocktails.
