This used to be home to the mythical, El Taller. Now, it’s El Nuevo Cabaretitio Neón, the best basement in the Zona Roma neighborhood where you can show off your best dance moves since it’s all about busting a move here.
There’s an excellent selection of music ranging from 90’s pop to Top 40 and late-night turns into a total house music party. Of course, the drink specials are the real draw: starting at 10 MXN drinks from 6-8 and bottles from 450 MXN. On Fridays and Saturdays, they’ll have guest DJs and on drag shows on Sundays with queens like Laura León and Bibi Gaitán.
Legend had it that the hottest guys were at El Taller and it turns out the space must be blessed because the legend continues. So, not only is this a great place to go out dancing but, also to maybe pair up and see where the night takes you… just remember to always be safe.
