San Jose has been able to create a community in Cabo around overnight experiences, and one of the current epicentres is Solaz Resort Los Cabos, a luxury hotel with an infinity pool, six restaurants and one of the best sunset views of the Sea of Cortez.
Perhaps the most fun thing about arriving at the resort, besides the design that integrates organic architecture in stone, glass and wood to respect the environment, is the mini-museum of whales and maps. The personality of the rooms, arranged on three terrace-style levels, means that they all have a privileged view of the sea and the vegetation so characteristic of Los Cabos.
The resort was renovated in 2023 and is now an entity that takes on the shapes of the sun as the day progresses, reminding us that nature is present as you open the door to your terrace suite. The infinity pool overlooking the Pacific is perfect for lounging or ordering something from the bars that flank it. The gastronomic offerings feature an executive chef at the helm, and the creativity, Italian in origin, is reflected in the homemade pizzas, pastas and burrata.
The Mika restaurant's cuisine offers catch of the day, some selected cuts with local ingredients as garnish, and atypical twists on sauces or compotes.
The spa offers massages to suit your needs, and a circuit of comfort from start to finish. They have areas for children, teens room, pet park and collective meditation area.
