Now admittedly, this is not something the average person would assume they need in their life, but who among us has the talent to think of such an event?
With the recent announcement of a new Sister Act movie, there’s no better time to revisit the epic soundtracks of its predecessors through a live choir and band. On Saturday, October 27, the B.East is putting on a show full of classics from both Sister Act and Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, including 'I Will Follow Him', 'Oh Happy Day' and 'Joyful, Joyful'.
A supergroup of Melbourne musicians and singers has been put together for the night, featuring a six-person choir who will no doubt do Sister Mary Clarence's arrangements justice.
The concept began as—of all things—a pun. The B.East’s chef wanted an excuse to create a tribute dish for Whoopi Goldberg—the Whoopie Goldburger, which will be served up for just $15 on the night.
The night starts at 9pm and entry is free. Guests are encouraged to get in early so they don’t miss out!
