Time Out says

There will soon be more plastic in the ocean than fish, but the brave folk at Sea Shepherd are doing all they can to protect our oceans. And you can help by supporting the organisation's Ocean Defence Tour – a fundraiser that's also guaranteed to be a great day out.

On October 19, get down to Seaworks in Williamstown to enjoy food, music and plenty of entertainment. Musicians including the Beautiful Monument and Fleetmac Wood will perform across two stages throughout the day, and there will be children's activities, food vendors and market stalls.

You can also tour the Steve Irwin, Sea Shepherd's recently retired flagship. Captain Alistair Allan, Sea Shepherd’s youngest captain, will talk about what it's like to sail the seven seas with the organisation.

Tickets are $12, with children under 12 free.
