Did you know that the Melbourne Aquarium is hosting a New Year’s Eve bash this year? Yep, guests will have full access to the aquarium’s underwater wonderland as well as beverage packages, food stations and panoramic views of the Yarra and the city’s fireworks display.
All guests will be able to dig into Coffin Bay oysters, an antipasto station, a worldly cheese platter and a sweets station and then opt for either the silver, gold or platinum drink package for the evening. The silver package includes a selection of wines, beers and cider for $179 per person; the gold package includes all that and four spirit tokens for $229 per person; and the platinum package gets you all the standard spirits you want, plus exclusive access to the balcony that overlooks the Yarra River for $289 per person.
Expect plenty of music, great marine company (we hear Pinjarra the crocodile is great on the dancefloor) and plenty of good cheer.
