Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School will open to the public for free for one day only on Saturday, March 23.
Director Kirsten Tibballs of MasterChef fame will demonstrate the intricacies of chocolate making, while executive pastry chef Paul Kennedy will show visitors the ins and outs of sweet treats. Visitors will get to watch (and of course taste) the creation of chocolates and pastries as well as touring the school's kitchens.
Demonstrations will run every hour on the hour, and every hour will offer the same information. The open day is free, but bookings are required.
Normal classes at Savour cost upwards of $200, so this is a great opportunity to get a taste for pastry without shelling out for your choux.
