Time Out says

Strap on your skates for some ‘80s-roller skating fun this April as a pop-up skate rink lands at the Bunjil Place plaza from April 9 to 18.

You can sign up for a 30-minute skate session for $7 which includes skate hire. Several sessions have games and prizes up for grabs at the special Roller Disco Nights. Wheelchair users can also join the rink at any session.

Need to practice your skills? Visitors can take part in some learn-to-skate classes with fitness group RollerFit. The coaches at RollerFit can help you get your skate skills up to scratch – or even get you started if you’ve never skated before. These sessions take place on April 12, 15 and 18.

Roller-themed movies will also be playing on the big screen. You can catch Xanadu on Sunday, April 11 at 5pm and Whip It on Sunday, April 18 at 5pm.

Check out all the details on Bunjil Place’s website.
