The lawns of the Werribee city centre are becoming a summery hub of food and free entertainment between January 18 and February 24.
If you’re already back at work fear not: during the daylight hours Pop Up Park is the perfect place for a lunchtime breather with deck chairs and umbrellas plus giant chess, Jenga and connect four.
Friday nights is where the entertainment really kicks off. The line-up of all-ages shows features Kate Cebrano, Sam Perry and Ash Grunwald, plus a whole heap more. The good folk at the Pop Up Park know what’s on your mind come Friday so they’re also setting up a pop-up bar to accompany your tunes.
Saturday is movie night with two screenings per session. Bring your mini humans along to the 5pm session for animated fun and childhood classics like including The Greatest Showman, Trolls and Captain Underpants.
Finally, food. Sundays at Pop Up Park are food truck central with different food options each week. No one feels like cooking on Sunday, so set yourself up with some food truck treats and have lunch on the lawns.
All the free summer fun in the west begins Friday, January 18 at Werribee city centre.
