If you’re always dreaming of your next dumpling fix (guilty), you’ll want to visit Federation Square this weekend.
Melbourne market favourite Pierogi Pierogi is popping up in Beer Deluxe’s beer garden this Saturday and Sunday to serve hungry Melburnians hearty Polish dumplings.
You’ll be able to get your mitts on two different flavours of pierogi, both specially designed for Beer Deluxe. First up is the ‘golonka’ pierogi, a rich combination of pork knuckle stewed in beer-braised sauerkraut. If you’re a snag fan, try the ‘kielbasa’ pierogi, where smoked sausage and cheese unite inside a chewy dumpling blanket.
Beer Deluxe will provide the brews to wash down the pierogies with. As well as the venue's standard 20 taps of local and international beers, the bar will also be slinging Polish faves like Zywiec Original and Żubrówka (bison grass vodka) with cloudy apple juice.
You can check out the Pierogi Pierogi pop-up at Beer Deluxe Fed Square this Saturday and Sunday from noon till 9pm each day. Entry is free and pierogies are $11 for a small plate and $20 for a large plate.
