Time Out says

There is a reason the parma-and-pot combo is *the* staple of pub food. The sweetness of the Napoli sauce balances the saltiness of the ham; the gooey cheese is offset by the crunch of the chicken batter. If there is a better combination of foods, we don't know it.

Food truck park the Ascot Lot is celebrating all things parma with Parma-rama, a festival devoted to the ultimate chicken dish. There are variations on the original, of course, including Just Like Nonna’s parma burger, Burrito Bae’s Mex parma and Parma Bites’ popcorn chicken parma.

Not into meat? Eggplant parmas and vegan parmas are also available.

Eating parmas is thirsty work, so luckily the Ascot Lot bar will be serving up $10 jugs of lager and cider with any parma purchase. Want to really get things going? There's a range of Espresso Martinis for just $10 – varieties include the Bounty Hunter (we're assuming some kind of coconut) and Cherry Bite.

Don't be like Jon Snow and leave your best mate behind – dogs are welcome at the Ascot Lot, including in the drinking hall.
