Time Out says

It is rather ambitious to open a bar on New Year's Eve, but Jerome Borazio is not one to shy away from difficult things. He's the brains behind Laneway Festival and Back Alley Sally's, and his new bar, Reunion Island Pool Club, is opening its doors on the biggest hospitality night of the year.

For $250 you get unlimited Paul Louis sparkling wine and Kirin Beer, plus food from Easey's, including burgers, club sandwiches, mac 'n' cheese bites and barbecue chicken wings.

You can also book an exclusive pool for the night – a four-person pool is up for grabs at $400, or you and nine mates can go in on the ten-person pool for $1000. Jade Zoe will be providing entertainment all night.

It's one of the best spots in Melbourne to see the fireworks, so you're guaranteed an excellent show.
