The cat rescue organisation has a ‘cat lounge’ where you can hang out with, pat and play with the animals up for adoption. It’s sort of like a cat café without the café. And that’s not to say there is no food – you can buy treats at the shop to serve to the cats. One-hour sessions cost $15 on weekends ($12 on weekdays), or two lucky people per day can stay all day for $20 each. If you fall in love while you are there, you can adopt any of the cats and give them a forever home.
