Time Out says

Nothing beats the cold better than mugs of warm mulled wine and moreishly melty cheese. High Street's Welcome to Thornbury has brought the best of both worlds together with the return of its mulled wine and hot cheese party on Saturday, June 3.

From 4pm to 9pm, the bar will be serving up mulled rosé, mulled cider, classic hot toddy drinks and six different types of warm mulled wine – think flavours like cherry, chilli and sticky date. The venue has also picked out an extra cheesy bunch of food trucks and food vendors to keep punters fed, plus a DJ who'll spin groovy retro tunes to keep the energy pumping all evening long.

Try pasta, raclette and fondue, boujee cheeses from Supercheese, toasties from Toasta, and cheesylicious specials from Welcome to Thornbury's fave traders: Mr Burger, Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks, Hesi Jimbo, and Woking Amazing

If there's ever an excuse to leave your couch and escape the cloying comfort of Netflix on a chilly night, it's this. Don your puffiest puffer jacket and beanie, grab a mate, and find a seat with your name on it in the warmth.

You can reserve a spot in advance here.
