Mercedes me is welcoming botany maestros The Plant Society for its very own venue residency this month, which will be complemented by both a custom installation and a super fun DIY workshop.
The Plant Society is made up of some of Melbourne's coolest green-thumbed, interior-focused legends, spearheaded by founder Jason Chongue. First up, the greenery collective will be flexing their skills, installing a custom piece of greenery in Mercedes me's CBD café which will be the focal point of the weeklong residency.
You'll also get the chance to learn from Melbourne’s coolest interior horticulturalists when The Plant Society host a hands-on workshop on Monday October 15 at 6pm. Tickets are $30 and you'll learn all about all the ins and outs of taking care of indoor plants. Founder Jason Chongue will also be back in on Wednesday October 17 for an in-depth in conversation at 6pm.
If you want to take a piece of the plant action home, the Plant Society will also have a pop-up shop so you can browse through a selection of succulents, ferns and indoor plants.
Whether you're a proud plant mum or a professional fern killer, the Plant Society's pop-up at Mercedes Me will have tips and tricks, plus take-home fun that'll no doubt enhance your knowledge of plants.
