Melbourne's Mercedes me is set to host a series of events that thrust adventure, exploration and discovery into the spotlight.
It all kicks off with Stronger than Time, an exhibition that brings together six special iterations of the G-Wagon, Mercedes' rugged on and off-road vehicle. The G-Wagon has a long and storied history in the automotive world and a snapshot of the vehicle's legacy will be on show from Monday, August 27 until Saturday, September 1. You can see an Australian Defence Force example alongside a special ‘Mike Horn’ edition and many others.
Mercedes me will also host an in-conversation event on Tuesday, August 28 with two of the country's most dynamic young explorers. Jessica Watson, who circumnavigated the southern hemisphere solo at the age of 16, and Jade Hameister, a 17-year-old who recently became the youngest person in history to ski the North Pole, the South Pole and Greenland icecap, will sit down and talk through their respective endeavours in this intimate chat. Tickets are $20 and the talk will begin at 6.30pm.
