The Sensory Garden was established in 1997 to provide work for people with disabilities and a space for visitors to come and reflect. The gardens now cover two acres and include a duck pond, a stream, a large sunken herb garden and masses of plants of contrasting colours and fragrances. The space has become a popular wedding location and is also home to a nursery café.
